We don't sell your data, run ads, or build profiles on you. We share info only with the services that help us run the site (payments, email, backups). Other players see your display name and points on the leaderboard, not your email, address, or picks.

This Privacy Policy describes how Digging Deep ATVMX Fantasy ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and fantasy game at https://beta.atvfantasy.com (the "Service").

Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in, we collect your email address to create and manage your account. We send passwordless sign-in links to that address. You may also set a display name, which appears on the public standings page.

Game and entry information

We store your weekly rider picks, scores, season entry status, and payment records (amount paid, payment status, and a Stripe checkout reference). We do not receive or store your full payment card number. Stripe processes payments on our behalf.

Prize shipping information

Merch prizes are included with season entry. We collect your shipping name, mailing address, and shirt size to fulfill those prizes. You may opt out of the prize shirt at entry or in Profile; other merch can still ship to your address.

Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we store a push subscription for your device (endpoint URL and encryption keys provided by your browser). We also store your notification preference. Pick reminders are sent by push when a device is registered, otherwise by email.

Technical information

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in (default lifetime: 90 days). We may log your IP address for rate limiting, fraud prevention, and security auditing. Email addresses in server logs are partially redacted.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

Operate the fantasy game, including picks, scoring, and standings
Authenticate you and manage your account
Process season entry payments and confirm access
Send sign-in links, pick reminders, and other service emails
Deliver push notifications you opt into
Ship merch prizes to eligible players
Protect the Service, enforce limits, and troubleshoot issues

What other players can see

The standings page shows your display name and total points. Your email address, shipping address, and individual picks are not shown to other players. Your pick history is visible only when you are signed in to your account.

Third-party services

We use trusted providers to run the Service. They process data only as needed to perform their role:

Stripe for payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
Brevo for transactional email (Brevo Privacy Policy)
Backblaze B2 for encrypted database backups retained up to 7 days
Browser push services (for example Apple, Google, or Mozilla) when you register for web push
Google Fonts and jsDelivr to load fonts and front-end libraries in your browser

These providers may receive technical data such as IP addresses as part of normal service delivery. Payment information you enter at checkout is handled directly by Stripe.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to maintain your sign-in state. The Service may also use browser storage for progressive web app features. You can clear cookies in your browser settings, but you will need to sign in again.

Data retention

Account and game data is kept for the active season and a reasonable period afterward so standings and prize fulfillment can be completed.
Sign-in links expire after 10 minutes and are deleted after use or expiry.
Database backups are retained for up to 7 days, then removed automatically.
Server security logs rotate according to our hosting configuration.

Your choices

Update your display name and prize shipping details anytime on your Profile page.
Turn push notifications on or off in Profile. You can also unregister the current device there.
Sign out to end your session on a shared device.
Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements (for example completed payment records).

Security

We use HTTPS in production, rate limiting on sensitive endpoints, and access controls for admin functions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
